It’s all about perspective when starting to customize a bike. In this case, we have the legendary bike Suzuki GN 250 1992! Dream Wheels Heritage turns this bike into a new vehicle for our own member Nelson! They did an outstanding job and you can clearly see that the final product is a whole different motorcycle and quite unrecognizable!

Nelson wanted a genuine Café Racer style and Dream Wheels meet his expectation to the fullest. A lot of special features can be seen throughout the project.

For instance, the fuel tank, believe it or not, is derived from a Sachs Lotus V5—a 50cc motorcycle from Portugal made in the early 80s.

Honda CB750 was generous enough to “donate” this awesome set of Showa shocks! There is also a slight change on the front fork in order to adjust the stance. Finally, for the curious one, the tier type is MKII and the dimensions of the front tier are 18’’ whereas the rear 16’’.

To continue with, you can clearly see the beautiful fender and rear license plate bracket. This is so unique due to the fact that it’s handmade. The Dream Wheels didn’t stop here of course and actually create (hand made) the seat and the battery box too.

What is more is that the seat hump is perched on a custom made sub frame, with a small LED light installed into the seat pan. Thus, creating the feeling of a fully custom made modern motorcycle.

To a more technical approach, the exhaust is a combination of 2 EMGO mufflers that are linked to the headers with a special branch. The engine of this Suzuki GN 250 was rebuilt from the top so as smaller items like brakes and fork boots.

From back to top, you can see the headlight is still a classic one but with a LED lamp. Also I couldn’t help but noticing the speedo too, which is (WRAPPED) in leather, with a vintage Portuguese coin installed in the side.
Finally, you can see the beautiful “hot chocolate” color picked by Dream Wheels and of course the lucky number of Nelson , 19.
